Day 1
Catania: Arrival
Welcome to Italy. From the airport, you will arrive at your hotel in Catania independently. (Optional private transfer is available on request). The day is free to relax and you will meet the tour representative in the evening. Enjoy the welcome dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2
Departure to Syracuse – Noto
Breakfast will be served at the hotel to start the day. Then you'll head to Syracuse, where you'll see one of Sicily's most beautiful and important Greek colonies, as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Begin your journey at the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, where you can see the Roman Amphitheater, Greek Theater, Latomie of Paradise, and Dionysius' Ear. The journey will continue with a visit to Ortigia, a small island in the heart of Syracuse's old district. It's an excellent vantage point for admiring the Cathedral, which commands the area with its imposing presence. Although it has little similarity to a Doric temple, the façade is a superb Sicilian-Baroque construction! Noto is an exceptional masterpiece with its spectacular architecture, inspired by the ideal of the Baroque as an "open city." With the native limestone burned gold by the sun, it embodies the theatrical beauty of 18th-century architecture. There, the Baroque is marked by its perspective views, floral weaves, gracefully defined curves, magnificent palaces and gardens, capitals, and embellishments. The exterior of churches and monasteries are adorned with each of these elements. Then you'll go to the Palazzo Nicolaci Villadorata, a stunning Baroque-style noble home. There is free time to walk around and take in the sights of the city. You'll arrive at your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at the end of the day.
Day 3
Discover The City Highlights of Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Piazza Armerina
This is the third day of your winter vacation in Italy. After breakfast, you will go on a day trip to Ragusa Ibla, the historical center and cradle of Sicilian Baroque. It is one of 44 Italian World Heritage Sites and was originally utilized as a filming location for the popular TV series Police Inspector Montalbano. The day includes chocolate tasting and learning about Sicilian perfume's wonderful and unique flavor. Local nepitella (wild mint), raw PGI – Sicilian lemon, orange blossom honey, and PGI – Sicilian red-orange are also popular flavors you can enjoy. The winter tour of Italy will continue with a visit to the Palazzo Castro Polara Grimaldi. These are the seventeenth-century nobles that have been preserved. Then proceed to the Piazza Armerina to see the Villa Romana del Casale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you may enjoy the exquisite polychrome mosaics. A member of the Roman Senatorial elite owned this villa. The site is home to outstanding mosaics depicting mythological and historical hunting and entertainment adventures. After the tour, travel to Agrigento. Arrive at the hotel, eat dinner, and rest for the night.
Day 4
Tour from Agrigento to Marsala, Salt Road
Have breakfast at the hotel and then you will head out for the day, exploring the highlights of Agrigento. Visit the Valley of the Temples, the World Heritage Site. Pyndar defined the place as “the most beautiful city of mortals”. The tour continues and you will visit the town of Marsala. It is known to be the place where Garibaldi went ashore in May 1860. Marsala is a Mediterranean modern city and is divided between sea and land, with some vibrant and unforgettable colors. Explore the area, stroll around and then proceed for a guided tour of the Florio Cellars. The day then continues to Salt Road. You can spot the oldest salt extracting industries in the world. The Salt Road is now conserved for its interesting birdlife and is also an industrial archaeological site. By the end of the day, you will be transferred to Palermo. Dinner will be served at the hotel where you will stay overnight.
Day 5
Explore The Wonders of Monreale and Palermo
The morning starts with breakfast in the hotel. The day is scheduled for exploring the wonders of Monreale. Tour around to explore the huge Norman Cathedral that was declared as the Eighth Wonder of the World. It has a Cloister in Arab-Norman style. Discover the beauty of the art, sculpture, and semiprecious stones marquetry. You will then proceed on the journey to Palermo. The tour includes a visit to an eclectic Cathedral, the Martorana Church, and the Cappella Palatina. These are some of the most magnificent remains of history and fine examples of artistic and cultural diversity. and an artistic point. Day 6
Exploring Cefalù and Catania

Day 7
Excursion to Mount Etna
Morning calls for breakfast in the morning and then you will continue the Italy winter package tour with a visit to “Peschiera” in Catania, (the ancient fish market). Then visit Mount Etna, which is the highest (c. 3350m) volcano in Europe and also the largest and most active in the world. It is also stated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a stop to enjoy the local homemade honey and some other products of the area. You will then continue the journey to Taormina. This town is known to be positioned above the sea overlooking a magical view of Etna. Have lunch in the afternoon and then visit the Greek theater of Taormina. The theater overlooks Giardini Naxos Bay and Etna Mountain. Admire the evening view of Riviera Dei Ciclopi and then get back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8
City Tour of Catania
Your day at Catania will start with breakfast at the hotel and then you will proceed to explore the city. You will then be dropped at the airport to board a flight to Malta. As you reach Malta, reach the hotel for dinner. This day of your 11 days Italy winter package will end. Stay overnight.
Day 9
Visit Valletta and Mdina
The day in Malta starts with breakfast. Then you will be picked by the tour guide for a half-day excursion to Valletta. Tour around the capital city and visit Casa Rocca Piccola. This is an ancient palace of the sixteenth century that belonged to the Maltese nobility. Today, it is the private residence of the Marquis de Piro. Then visit the Cathedral of St. John and the Grand Master's Palace, which today is the seat of the Maltese Parliament. Proceed the tour to Mdina, the former capital of Malta. There, you will visit the Cathedral of St. Paul and enjoy the scenic wonders. By the end of the tour, you will be transferred to the hotel to relax. Stay overnight there.
Day 10
Explore Cottonera, Marsaxlokk, Blue Grotto, Dingli
Your day will begin with breakfast, and then you will embark on a full-day tour to Cottonera, commonly known as "The Three Cities". Senglea, Vittoriosa, and Cospicua are the three fortified cities you will see. Then go to Marsaxlokk, a fishing village where you may see the beauty of the waterfront, which is lined with traditional fishing boats known as Luzzi. Visit Wied iz-Zurrieq and take a marine excursion to the Blue Grotto. It's a lovely and picturesque natural cave that displays the aquatic flora's vivid colors. Your journey will continue in a private vehicle through the Maltese countryside in the direction of Dingli. Go back to your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 11
Departure Day
Start the morning with some delicious breakfast and then you will check out of the hotel. Make your way towards the airport to board your flight onwards. With this, the 11 days Italy winter package ends.
