Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival at Kathmandu
Your Nepal family tour package will start with your arrival in Kathmandu at the Tribhuvan International Airport. One of our local representatives will be waiting outside the arrival area for you and will welcome you by offering a Khada. The Khada is a traditional ceremonial scarf that symbolizes purity and compassion in Buddhist culture. Then, you will be transferred to the hotel where you can relax with your family. In the late afternoon, the trek guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and give you a briefing about trekking. Enjoy family time in the tranquil ambiance. Stay overnight.
Day 2
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and Reach Phakding
On this day of your Nepal family holiday, you will board a flight from Kathmandu and reach Lukla within 30 minutes. The Lukla region is a gateway to the beautiful Everest region. After enjoying a family lunch at the riverside village of Ghat, your journey will start with a series of short trekking days to make you adapt to the climate. Then following the banks of the Dudh Koshi river, you will begin your climbing to reach Phakding. Relax and spend quality time with your family in the lodge. Stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 3
Climbing from Phakding to Namche
On this day of your Nepal vacation packages, you will start trekking with your family. You will cross the river by a large suspension bridge and then reach Joresale and continue trekking along the river today. You will cross the trail passing over the streams adorning wooden bridges and will enter Everest National Park. Finally, you will make a steep ascent to over 1000ft to reach the famous Namche Bazaar and rest in the Namche lodge. Spend quality time with your family. Stay overnight.
Day 4
Trekking from Namche to Khumjung
Start your day by witnessing the beautiful scenery amidst the mountains from your lodge. Enjoy a one-hour climb to the Syangboche airstrip which serves the famous Hotel Everest View. Reach the Khumjung village and relax at the Khumjung Lodge with your loved ones. Spend time with your family. Stay overnight.
Day 5
Trekking along the way from Khumjung to Phortse
Today you will head on to the Mong La pass and witness the mesmerizing views of Ama Dablam and Khumbila mountains. This day of your Nepal holiday package, will be a thrilling day where you will enjoy overnight camp in the traditional Sherpa village of Phortse. You will be able to witness the national bird of Nepal known as Daphne, mountain goat known as Himalayan Thar, and musk deer. Enjoy the stunning views with your family. Stay overnight at the lodge in Phortse.
Day 6
Climbing from Phortse to Dingboche
Today you will climb up and reach Imja Khola Valley while enjoying views of the Tengboche and Ama Dablam Mountain. You will reach the village of Upper Pangboche, which adorns an ancient monastery. After enjoying a delicious lunch, you will move further to reach Dingboche. The beautifully carved prayer stones on your way will delight your senses. Spend quality time at the Dingboche lodge. Stay overnight.
Day 7
Climbing from Dingboche to Chhukung Valley and Return to Dingboche
This day of the Nepal tour will be very fascinating and adventurous. Today you will trek to incredible Chhukung Valley which is bounded by Lhotse Mountain to the north, Ama Dablam to the south, and ice walls of the Amphu Laptsa Pass. Embrace the natural beauty of the region and trek back to Dingboche where you can relax. You may also trek forward to reach Duglha. Stay overnight at the lodge in Dingboche.
Day 8
Adventurous Journey from Dingboche to Lobuche
On the 8th day, you will walk along the trail to reach Duglha. It is a small settlement situated below the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. Back on the trail, it’s a steep climb up to Lobuche, where you can enjoy watching the sunset over Nuptse Mountain. Enjoy quality time with your family. Stay overnight at the lodge in Lobuche.
Day 9
Trekking from Lobuche to Gorekshep and Finally Reach Everest Base Camp
On the 9th day, you will continue trekking and enjoy the fascinating views of the Kala Patthar route. You will reach Gorekshep and spend the night amidst nature’s scenery and peaceful surroundings. Relax and stay overnight at the lodge in Gorekshep.
Day 10
Trekk from Gorekshep to Kala Patthar and Finally Reach Pheriche
On the 10th day of your Nepal trekking package, you will enjoy your breakfast early and then take the left-hand side trail and reach up the hill to reach Kala Patthar. Here you can spend quality time with your family capturing beautiful views of Mount Everest.
Day 11
Trekking from Pheriche to Namche Via Thyangboche
Today you will backtrack to Namche Bazaar and descend to the spectacular little bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. There you can enjoy a family walk in the meadows of Debouche. From here you will climb a short distance to reach Thyangboche where you can enjoy your lunch. Afterward, you will descend steeply downhill to reach Phunki Tanga. After taking a short break you will climb uphill to Shanasa and there you will again stop for a short break. Finally, you will head on to the end of the village and take the right-hand trail to reach Namche Bazaar. Stay overnight at Lodge in Namche.
Day 12
Trekking Back from Namche to Lukla via Monjo & Phakding
On the 12th day, you will retrace your steps downhill through the beautiful forest of Juniper, Rhododendron and cross the great bridge again. From here you will continue back to Jorsale where we leave the national park before continuing to Monjo where you can take a break. Stay overnight at the lodge in Lukla.
Day 13
Trekking from Lukla to Kathmandu
On the 13th day, you will fly back and reach Kathmandu. Check-in at the hotel and spend a tranquil time with your family. This day of your Nepal family travel package will be a leisure day.
Day 14
Departure from Tribhuvan International Airport
This day will be the last day of your 14 days Nepal Family Tour Package. Enjoy your breakfast and transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight onwards.

Twin sharing accommodation for 11 nights at local tea house/ lodge during the Everest region. Trek on AP basis (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner) all meals (B+L+D) will be provided as selected by the guide along with one hot drink (tea /coffee) after meals. Tea with biscuits in the afternoon upon reaching the lodge after the trek.
