Day 1
Arrival
Greetings from Turkey! Upon arrival in Istanbul, a transfer to our hotel is provided. The afternoon is yours to do as you choose or you may go exploring the city with the 6 nights 7 days Aegean tour package.
Day 2
Explore the Majestic Landmarks
We will first visit the magnificent Blue Mosque, known for its six distinctive minarets and blue Iznik tiles, before moving on to the ruined Hippodrome, Hagia Sofia Museum, and Underground Cistern included in the Aegean travel package. The walkways that visitors use are suspended over the shallow sea. It's serene and quiet cool.
Day 3
Trip to Gallipoli
Visit the Gallipoli World War 1 battleground. Visit ANZAC Cove, the Nek, Johnston's Jolly, the Australian War Memorial and Cemetery at Lone Pine, the New Zealand War Memorial and Cemetery in Chunuk Blair, and the several entrenched trenches. After boating over the Dardenelles included in the Aegean holiday package, we travel to our hotel to unwind and rest.
Day 4
Discover Troy
As we move south, we take a tour of Homer's Troy. After that, go visit ancient Pergamum for free.
Day 5
Enjoy a Guided Tour
Take a tour of Ephesus with a guide. Visit Ephesus' marble ruins. Make sure to visit the renowned Celcus Library, Vedius's gym, the Stadium, and the magnificent theater. A brothel, fountains, public restrooms, and several temples will be visible. After that, we pause to see a demonstration of how carpets are created because carpet weaving has a long history in Turkey.
Day 6
Enjoy a Warm Dip!
After breakfast today, we visit Pamukkale to see the area's renowned calcium-rich terraced pools. Alternatively, take a special and relaxing plunge in the warm waters of the Pamukkale Thermal.
Day 7
Departure
Now, check-out from the hotel and fly back home.
