Day 1
Arrive At Sultanate Of Oman
Welcome to Sultanate of Oman! Your driver will be waiting for you at the arrival hall of Muscat International Airport and will take you to your hotel. Overnight at Ramee Guest Line Hotel Muscat. Gear up for your Muscat holiday tour.
Day 2
Enjoy A Muscat Tour With Sunset Cruise
Are you ready for day 2 of your Muscat tour? Muscat City tour - Sunset Cruise, Your Half-Day Muscat City Tour will start from the Sultan Qaboos Mosque – Grand Mosque, the 5th biggest Mosque in the world (please consider the dress code). The Mosque is open from 0800 HRS till 1100 HRS (except Friday). Pass the embassy quarter and enjoy a guided tour through the beautiful Royal Opera House (tour services are just available if there is no rehearsal on stage). Visit the Bait Al Baranda Museum. After this you drive along the corniche to Muttrah Souk, the oldest souk in Oman. Continue to Al Alam Palace (photo stop), home to two Portuguese Forts, called Al Mirani and Al Jalali. Check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon you will be taken on a sunset cruise alongside the coastline of Muscat. Overnight at Ramee Guest Line Hotel Muscat.
Day 3
Take A Tour of Muscat- Bimah Sinkhole – Wadi Tiwi - Sur
Leave the capital of Oman to explore the beauty of the country. The first stop of the day will be the Bimah Sinkhole. From there you proceed to Sur, enjoying mesmerizing views over the Indian Ocean and Oman’s beautiful white beaches. Enjoy a walk in the evergreen Wadi Tiwi and continue to Sur to visit one of the nowadays rare traditional dhow factories, an open-air dhow museum and enjoy a walk-through Al Aygah known for its beautiful old, wooden doors. In the evening you can visit the turtle beach where turtles are seen laying their eggs as well as baby turtles leaving their nest (please note that during your stay it is low season and there is no guarantee to see any turtles). Day 4
Enjoy The Beauty of Sur- Al Kamil – Desert
Today you will be taken on a guided tour of the coastal area to experience the desert beauty of Sharqiyah Sands in Oman. First you will discover some of Oman's hidden gems, included in the 7 days city tour package. In the small town of Al Kamil, you will visit a fort museum. Then you will continue to a gazelle sanctuary to see some of Oman's rare wildlife. You will soon see the first dunes and enter the desert. Enjoy the sunset over the dunes and a traditional dinner at the camp. Overnight at Arabian Oryx Desert Camp.
Day 5
Experience the Desert- Ibra – Birkat Al Mauz – Nizwa
Are you excited about your Oman holiday tour? Enjoy breakfast before leaving to experience more of this fascinating country! You will be given a tour of the busy, weekly Wednesday market in Ibra, first thing in the morning. It is a traditional market where handmade crafts and incense are sold by women. Explore the old city before going to Nizwa. Immerse yourself in the highest mountains in Oman soon and enjoy the banana and date trees in Birkat al Mauz or just enjoy the view of the village. Overnight at Al Diyar Hotel Nizwa.
Day 6
Enjoy A Guided Tour of Nizwa – Bahla – Jabreen – Amouage
Day 6 of the 7 days Muscat city tour package will take you on a guided tour of Nizwa, the ancient capital of Oman. You will learn about its history at the fort. This region has a very long and powerful history, seen in at a photo stop at Bahla Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and during your visit to the unique Jabreen Castle. On the way back to Muscat you will stop at the Amouage factory. They produce one of the best perfumes in the world and you can take a tour of the factory and explore the variety of different ingredients and incense (closed on Fridays and Saturdays). Overnight at City Season Hotel Muscat.
Day 7
Enjoy A Tour Of Muscat-Barka – Nahkl – Ain Thowarah -Departure
Today’s tour will lead you to the Bethina region. You will be taken to the lively fish market in Seeb, where the local fisher men sell their catch of the night before leaving the capital. Proceed to a camel breeding farm close by Barka where normally people from all over the GCC are looking for a new racing camel. In the early afternoon you reach Nakhl. Visit its beautiful fort, built on a high mountain. Drive through the old part of the city, passing old mud houses and beautiful gardens and reach the hot springs Ain Thowarah. Enjoy the walk along the palm trees and the pool area. After that you return to Muscat and reach the airport for your departure flight.
