Day 1
Athens: Arrival and at Leisure
Welcome to Athens. Your travel companion will meet you at the airport and drive you to the hotel. Check-in and then unwind for the rest of the day. With its museums, parks, and retail sections of Kolonaki, Hermou, Voukourestiou Street, Monastiraki, and Plaka, Athens is a fascinating city to explore on your own. Spend the night in the hotel.
Day 2
Enjoy The Local city Tour
The day begins with breakfast in your hotel room. On this day of your Greece family vacation, you will be picked up from your accommodation for a half-day excursion. The Athens Academy, University, National Library, and Hadrian's Arch are all worthwhile day trips from Athens. Explore the Olympian Zeus Temple and the Panathenaic Stadium that hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Visit the Propylaea, the Athena Nike Temple, the Erechtheion, and the Parthenon, which represent "the harmony between material and spirit." Proceed to the Acropolis Museum, and discover the statues of the classical era. The day will come to a close either at the hotel or in the city center. You can take a break or schedule your time accordingly. Get back and you will spend the night in a hotel.
Day 3
A Perfect Cruise
Breakfast in the hotel will start the day of your family vacation in Greece. After that, you'll be picked up from your hotel and driven to the port for a full-day cruise to the three Saronic islands of Hydra, Poros, and Aegina. Onboard, lunch will be served. You will explore each island to learn about the landscape, beauty, and history. The shoreline of Hydra is teeming with stores, cafes, and boutiques, making it a haven for artists. Poros is a lovely island with plenty of shopping opportunities. Grilled seafood and pistachio nuts are popular on Aegina, the largest of the Saronic Islands. Return to the port of Athens later in the evening, when you will be transferred to your hotel for the night.
Day 4
Tour of Delphi and Kalambaka
Enjoy the morning with breakfast and you will then be picked up from your hotel for your Delphi - Meteora trip. Arriving at Delphi and exploring the historical landmark after passing via Thebes, Levadia, and the lovely village of Arachova on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. The remnants of the Athenians' Treasury can be found at the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. In the afternoon, depart Delphi for a fantastic drive across Central Greece to Kalambaka (Meteora). The hotel will provide dinner. Spend the night in a hotel in Kalambaka (Meteora).
Day 5
A Scenic Meteora Tour
The day will begin with breakfast in your hotel on your Greece family vacation. Then go to Meteora to see beautiful scenery and ageless monasteries dangling in mid-air. Rare historical and religious artifacts can be found inside. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae, where you will be dropped off at your hotel. You'll stay in the hotel for the night.
Day 6
Flight Back to Home
This is the final day of your 6 days Greece family travel package. Start with breakfast and then you will check out. Reach the airport to catch your flight back home. The tour ends with the best memories.
