Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival At The Airport and Go On A Guided City Tour
Welcome to Oman! Our local representative will meet you at Muscat International Airport and show you around Muscat's most stunning attractions before going to the hotel. The Oman group tour package includes visiting the Sultan Qaboos Mosque, the Grand Mosque, the fifth largest mosque in the world (please consider the dress code). The mosque is open from 08:00 to 11:00 (except Fridays). Go via the Embassy Quarter and enjoy a guided tour through the magnificent Royal Opera House (tour services are only available if there is no on-stage rehearsal). Visit the Bait Al Baranda Museum. Next, drive along the Corniche to Muttrah Souq, the oldest souk in Oman. Continue to Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by two Portuguese forts, Al Mirani and Al Jalali. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight at Ramada Muscat hotel.
Day 2
Discover Amouage, Birkat Al Mauz and Jebel Akhdar
Before leaving the capital, visit the Amouage factory. Discover the different incense and learn about the making of one of the most expensive perfumes in the world. From there, you depart for the Hajjar mountains. Stop at Birkat al Mauz, a beautiful little village surrounded by date palms and banana trees. From there it climbs to about 2000 m above sea level. Day 3
Guided Tour Of Nizwa – Bahla – Jabreen
Leave the mountain for a day hike in the Nizwa area. As a part of the 6 days Oman group tour package, you will have some time to discover the traditional Souq, divided into different sections such as vegetables, dates and souvenirs and famous for its silver jewelry and handmade khanjar (daggers). Go to the fort of the ancient capital and learn more about its interesting history. Leave Nizwa and continue to Bahla, a mystical town with one of the four UNESCO World Heritage sites in Oman, Bahla Fort, where you will have the opportunity to stroll through the old village and have a photo stop. The last view of the day is Jabreen Castle. Known as the most beautiful castle in Oman, be sure to visit the fort from inside, hear the story of its builder Immam Bil'arub bin Sultan and his tragic story. Overnight at Alila Jebel Akhdar hotel.
Day 4
Explore Al Hamra – Misfat Al Abryeen – Wadi Bani Awf
Day 4 of the Oman group tour package includes discovering Al Hamra. In the middle of the old village is a beautiful renovated museum, which gives an idea of how the Omanis lived and some of them still live today. The next stop will be the mountain village Misfat al Abryeen which has existed since ancient times. It is not possible to cross the village by car, so we take the opportunity to take a nice walk in the area. Your journey will take you to Wadi Bani Awf. Driving adventures through the mountains with many mesmerizing views and the beautiful village of Bilad Said inviting you to stroll through their verdant terraced fields. Today's tour will end on the coast of the Bathina region. Night at the Millenium Mussanah hotel.
Day 5
Guided Tour of Wadi Abiyad – Nakhl – Wakan
Today you will be taken to the Bathina region, one of the most interesting yet undiscovered regions of Oman. You will first discover Wadi Abiyad. Depending on the water level, you will do water bashing or even take a bath or just walk around this area. From there you will continue to one of the oldest settlements in this area. Nakhl has an impressive fort, built on a 60m high mountain. As your guide shows you the different areas of the fort, you'll get a little insight into Omani life. Cross the old part of Nakhl, where mud houses are surrounded by gardens, and reach Ain Thowarah, the thermal system of Nahkl. In the early afternoon, you will leave the city and continue towards the Hajjar Mountains. A small village called Wakan, where locals still live in the traditional Omani way, invites you to stroll through its fruitful gardens to enjoy a unique view of the mountainous region. After the walk, you will return to your hotel. Overnight at Millenium Mussanah Hotel.
Day 6
Leave For The Muscat International Airport
You will have a wholesome breakfast at the hotel and spend the day at leisure. After you check out of the hotel, you will be taken to Muscat International Airport to catch your next flight.
